* Original passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into New Zealand 

 * A minimum of three blank pages on the passport

 * All old passports, if any 

* Two passport size photos
* The passport size photo should be 35 mm wide by 45 mm high and taken within the last three months

* The photograph must reflect true skin tone and must be evenly bright

* The facial expression must be neutral with the mouth closed
* The photo must be taken against a white background with the hair and shoulders visible 

* The wide should be kept wide open but if the applicant typically wears glasses, they must do so in the photo as well

* Headgear is acceptable for religious purposes only and should be in a dark colour 

* The photo should not be distorted or flipped 

• If visiting friends or family

o Invitation/Sponsorship letter.

o ID & Address proof of the Inviter. (If being sponsored; financial documents).

* Original Personal updated bank Statement for last 6 months with seal & sign of Bank officer. Evidence of funds of at least NZ$1,000 per month for maintenance and accommodation, or NZ$400 per month if your accommodation has been prepaid

* If being sponsored, the traveller must provide the sponsor’s bank statement

* All applicants must provide 6 months bank statement signed and attested by a bank official

* NOC (preferably notary) from parent or parents if child is not accompanied by either of the parents.

*For employed- NOC letter from employer

*Application form

*Covering letter stating purpose and duration of stay. For self employed – on business letterhead.

*Personal IT Returns for last 3 years

*Payslips for last 3 months

*Copy of complete passport of used and unused pages

* If employed, a letter of leave from the place of employment
