What you’ll need for a successful visa application

- Covering letter (self-employed: business letterhead, employed: original covering letter along with signature)
- Personal Covering Letter should have the applicant’s details and location of stay in Malaysia. If staying with friends/relatives, their name, identification number, and phone number is required
- Personal bank statement (last 6 months) with a seal, signature of the bank and a minimum balance of 80,000/-per passenger
- Income Tax returns (last 3 years)
- Salary slips (last 3 months)
- Financial documents of sponsor and sponsorship letter (if sponsored)
- Your Malaysia Tourist e-Visa application fees along with the service charge are non-refundable regardless of whether it is approved or rejected by the Embassy
- Your Malaysia Tourist e-Visa fee is approximately $45, and its equivalent in INR will depend on the exchange rate on the day you pay
- Additional documents may be required by the Embassy and should be submitted in a timely manner
- The grant or refusal of your Malaysia Tourist e-Visa application is at the sole discretion of the immigration office
- Malaysia Tourist e-Visa issued under visit/business/transit/tourist purposes does not make the bearer eligible to work in Malaysia

- It is typically used for short-term business purposes such as meetings, conferences, or negotiations

- Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date
- Your passport should have been issued within the last 10 years
