Documents Required

What you’ll need for a successful visa application

  • Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date
  • Your passport should have a minimum of 2 blank pages
  • Previously issued passports, if you have any
  • Your passport should have been issued within the last 10 years 
  • Indian passports with any observations or corrections will not be accepted
  • Passport copy (1st page & last page) of current and old passports

Note:- Visa fees are to be paid in cash at the visa application centre 

  • Two recent coloured passport-size photographs (matt finised)
  • Size of the photos: 33mm x 48mm without any border
  • Ensure your photos have a white background with 80% face coverage

  • You'll need an invitation letter from the Chinese company you're visiting. The invitation letter needs to be in the English language 
  • The letter should include the purpose and duration of your visit, along with the applicant's passport details and be on official business letterhead with, authorized signing in the Chinese language with the seal of the Chinese company on it
  • An issuer of an invitation letter who is an individual in China should also provide a photocopy of his/her Chinese ID
     

  • For Trade Fair:- Documents on the commercial activity issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair invitation relevant entity or individual. The invitation letter should contain:
    • Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
    • Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or individual, financial source for expenditures)
    • Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual)

  • China visa application form
  •  Original covering letter from the Indian company stating the purpose and duration of your visit, along with the applicant's passport details and be on official business letterhead with the company seal on it
  • Indian company registration copy (GST certificate or Certificate of incorporation)
  • If you have obtained Chinese visas before and apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport that does not contain any Chinese visa, you should present the photocopy of the previous passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page (If your name on the current passport differs from that on the previous one, you must provide an official document of name change)
  • For the application of a multiple entry visa: a copy of all previous Chinese visas (on one A-4 sized paper) should be attached
