Good news for Indian students! The United States is planning to increase student visa appointments for Indian students by 30 percent. This decision was made due to India becoming one of the leading countries that sends students to the US for higher education. With this increase in appointments, more students can now fulfil their dreams of studying abroad in the US.

US Consul General Mike Hankey made this announcement during his visit to Aurangabad. He stated that the US had set a new record for Indian students going to the US last year with more than 1.25 lakh students. This year, they aim to increase this number further by increasing the number of appointments by 30 percent for summer admissions.

Apart from this, Hankey also visited Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, where he interacted with students. However, note that the US Government has recently increased the processing fee for certain visa applications, including student visas and tourist visas.

It’s not just the US; the UK has also seen an increase in the number of Indian students. According to data released by the UK Home Office, the number of Indian students has surpassed the number of Chinese students in the UK. So, students, gear up for a bright future ahead!
